[Ended] Molten Launches Battle of the Bands Competition
8 Local Competitions across the UK and EIRE and a grand final in London to find one band to be crowned Molten Battle of the Bands Winner!!! All winners and runners-up in each region will be added to a compilation which will go out under the banner of Molten Magazine!
Molten Magazine is currently looking for Bands/ Promoters/ Venues to take part in this brand new national battle of the bands aimed at Extreme Metal Bands with heats running from September to December 2012 Nationwide. We’re looking for anything from Black Metal, Grindcore, Thrash Metal to Death Metal and everything in-between to find the hottest new talent in the UK!
Current Confirmed Regions:
- Wales – Cardiff
- Ireland – Dublin/ Belfast
- South/ South East – Winchester/ Portsmouth
- South West – Devon/ Cornwall
Regions Available:
- Scotland
- Midlands
- North West
- North East
The final will take place in London in January 2013!
Current Prizes for the Winner include:
- Track Number 1 on Molten Underground Compilation, recorded at Envy Studios
in the UK and Produced by Stefano Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, Bloodshot Dawn).
- 2 page Main feature in the magazine to coincide with the compilations release.
- A festival slot on Portugal’s SWR Festival for 2013.
- A professional High Definition Music Video, produced by Dead Parrot Productions.
- Band will get 50 shirts printed for free with a 1 colour design to sell as merchandise.
- Will get opening slot on a Molten Sponsored UK tour in 2013 courtesy of Chaotic Tapestry Management.
