Issue 9 Out Now!
“It’s been an eventful few weeks since work began on this brand new issue of Molten you now hold in your hands. There have been ups and downs with the major downer being that our office pet ‘Sid Fishious’, which we introduced to you all in the last issue, sadly passed away. Too much rock perhaps? Or maybe he heard the new Gojira and Dying Fetus and decided life was now complete. Speaking of which, in this issue you’ll get the inside details behind both ‘L’Enfant Sauvage’ and ‘Reign Supreme’. On the up, summer has finally arrived, although, if like us you’re based in Northern or Southern Ireland you’ll probably not notice all that much. Regardless, it’s here and that means one thing… festival season! We hit SWR in Portugal and Hellfest in France so if you didn’t make it continue reading and you’ll see what exactly you missed. Or, if you were too drunk to remember, maybe this can shine a little light and bring back the good memories… or bad.
Also in this issue we talk to Paul Mcguire about Cerebral Bore’s past year and how Earache Records was the best thing that could ever have happened to them. We catch up with Candlemass to discuss their last ever album ‘Psalms For The Dead‘ and Architects set the record straight on ‘The Here & Now’ and their latest ‘Daybreaker’. We’ve got all the hottest news and cover all our regular slots with Meshuggah talking of writing and ridiculously expensive guitars in ‘Gear Talk’, live reviews, CD reviews and much more…”
