Pierce The Veil Release New Video ‘King For A Day’
California based progressive post-hardcore band Pierce The Veil have released a new video, ‘King For A Day’. The clip is a tongue-in-cheek take on a heist movie.
Vocalist Vic Fuentes comments, “We wanted something that mixes ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ with the old-school ’80s heist movies like ‘Point Break’ and ‘Gleaming The Cube.’ It was so much fun shooting all the action in a real bank and getting to work with real actors and actresses. Definitely our best video yet!”
‘King For A Day’ comes off the band’s third album, ‘Collide With The Sky’, which was recorded with producers Dan Korneff and Kato Khandwala (Mayday Parade, Paramore, A Day To Remember). The CD embraces the San Diego quartet’s unique blend of incendiary guitar lines and soaring melodies.
Following a colossal summer on the main stage of Vans Warped Tour, Pierce The Veil will then charge into a U.K. headline run in September with Crown The Empire.
